Betty l. Cochran, 78, of 185 Seneca Drive, died at 6:54 p.m. Saturday at her home.
Born Oct. 26, 1920, in Butler county, she was the daughter of Edward and Eva (Foster) Riding.
She was Protestant and was a retired clerk at the Point Drug Store.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Jeanie) Elliot and Kathleen Stockard, both of Butler; a grandson and a granddaughter; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Hockenberry of Butler and Mrs. Shriley Skillman of New Castle; a brother William Riding of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, six sisters and seven brothers.
Friends of Betty L. Cochran, who died Saturday, Oct. 31, 1998, will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
