Maggie first married Melvin Brown on 05 JUL 1884 in Edina, Knox County, Missouri. They had two sons, Frederick and Louie, who died as a small child. They divorced on 09 Dec. 1892 in Knox County, Missouri. She then married Charles Fowler on 11 AUG 1898 in Edina, Knox County, Missouri.

Death of Mrs. Margaret Fowler.

Mrs. Margaret Fowler died at her home here at 1:30 o'clock last Thursday afternoon after being a sufferer from rheumatism for years, but only bad sick for a week. She was 65 years old. Her husband, her brother, James Blood, and three sisters, Mrs. James Eubank of Kirksville, Mrs. M. B. Cotton of St. Louis and Mrs. Minnie Meredith of this place survive. She was a member of the Christian Church. Burial was in the family lot in Linville cemetery and Rev. S. E. Botsford conducted the services at the grave. Mrs. Fowler was born February 27, 1853, at Dayton, Ohio, and came to Edina with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Blood, before the Civil War.
