Prudence Massey was born 27 Apr 1800 in Mecklenburg Co., North Carolina and died 1844 [sic] in Mecklenburg Co., North Carolina.
She married Casper Hargett and they had at least the following children: Jason Hargett, Harris Hargett, Sarah Ann "Sallie" Hargett, Osborne Hargett, David A. Hargett, Morrison Hargett, James B. Hargett, Earline Hargett, Francis Hargett, and John Hargett. The last child, John Hargett was born the same year that she died, I am not sure if from childbirth.

1850 Census Prudence is still alive and living with Casper and their children. I realize multitudes of people have her as died in 1844 but she is listed in 1850 as still living. ? In 1856, it appears Casper remarries. So, to me the assumption would be she died between 1850-1855.
