Mrs. Funderburk lost two children by death, one little Sallie, who died at the age of 12 and Broadus Funderburk, who lived and died near Polkton, NC. She has seven children living: Mrs. S.A. Funderburk of Dudley, SC; Mrs. R.J. Harper of Lancaster; Mr. G.H Funderburk of Columbia, SC; Messrs, J.S. and T.V. Funderburk of Brownsville, Texas; Rev. F.H. Funderburk of Blacksburg, SC; and Mr. L.C. Funderburk of Cassatt, SC.
Her husband was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and was buried there when he died Jan 16, 1911. She joined that church in August 1860 as a member and was buried there as well.
She lived with her daughter, Mrs. Harper, but spent about six months with her sons in Texas.
