Pauline Day Blackburn

Pauline Day Blackburn, 39, Granger, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1976 in an automobile accident on I-15 near Blackfoot Idaho. One in three who died in accident, others were her daughter, Lynnise, Granger, and mother, Melva Finlinson Day, Fillmore.

Born April 7, 1937, Fillmore, to Newell D. and Melva F. Day. Married Von C. Blackburn, March 19, 1957, St George Temple. Member LDS Church, Relief Society President, Primary President, Laurel Leader, organist, chorister as well as many teaching positions. Renowned artist, member American Theatre Organ Society (ATOt) and elementary PTA board member. Worked at Harmon's West as a cake decorator.

Survivors: husband, three sons and a daughter, Scott D., Alan Von, Thomas Von, Lori Jo, Granger; father, Newell D. Day, Fillmore, two brothers and a sister, Dwight F., Cincinnati, Ohio, Lee N. Day, Orem, Carolyn D. Blackburn, Idaho Falls.

Funeral Services Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 10:30 a.m. in Granger 22rd Ward, 3270 West 3650 South . Friends may call at McDougall Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd., Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services at Granger 22rd Ward. Burial is Oak City Cemetery, Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. Funeral directors, Olpin Mortuary.
