Mrs. Elizabeth Trippe died at her residence near Culloden, Ga., July 1875. She was born in Mecklenburg county, Va., February 20th 1795 and her parents Captain John H. and Rebecca Bass, moving to Putnam county, Ga., during her girlhood, she was here married to Robert Trippe, with who she reared a family of eight children.
