Earl Raymond Hagan of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away the evening of July 31, 2003 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Earl was born in Lexington, Nebraska on November 20, 1923 to Frank and Cora Hagan. He is one of 25 children, a very large family. Earl completed the eighth grade but was unable to complete high school at that time. August 2001 he received an honorary high school diploma from the Logan County Veteran Association as a World War II veteran. He earned his private pilot license in March 1947. Earl married Valda Marie Bice December 26, 1942 in Hill City, Kansas. He is the father of four children, two sons and two daughters. Earl and Valda were married for 57 years and enjoyed a very loving relationship. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and was fortunate enough to enjoy great-grandchildren as well. Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Valda and is survived by all four children; sons, Richard and Alta Hagan of Clarksville, TN, Darwin Hagan of Midwest City, OK and daughters, Kay and Bert McMillan of Okla. City, OK and Linda and Alan Brown of Yukon, OK. He is also survived by serveral brothers and sisters as well as eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Services will be Monday at 10 am at Baggerly Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 13313 N. Kelly.
