Clarence Leslie Parton, 35, died at his home in the east part of Edina of heart disease at 11 o'clock this morning. He had been ill a year from it. He is survived by his wife, who was Mrs. Nellie Garrison and whom he married Feb. 1, 1934, and three children, Billie Lee, Betty Lou, and Burley Leslie, also a step-daughter, Buelah Pruett. There are also living his mother, Mrs. Jennie Parton, and two sisters, Leota, Mrs. Arthur Mitchell, Albuquerque, N. Mex., and Martha, Mrs. Joe Klodt, of northeast of Edina, and five brothers, Lloyd, George, Donald and Orville, of here, and John Parton, Hannibal. His father, George Parton, died a few years ago. He was born in Edina, March 16 ,1902, and graduated from the public school here in 1922. When funeral services will be had not been decided this morning.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at the Community Church for Leslie Parton, who died at his home Thursday following a heart attack. The services were in charge of the Rev. J. P. Ingerslew and burial was in the Linville cemetery. Mr. Parton is survived by his wife, three children, a step-daughter, his mother, two sisters and five brothers.
