'Buz' Parton, 46, Dies Early Tuesday.
H. O. "Buz" Parton of Edina, 46 years old, died at 12:15 o'clock Tuesday morning, May 15, 1955, at Gibson Hospital here, about twelve hours after suffering a heart attack. His body was taken to the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home and will be taken from there to St. Joseph Church for funeral services at 2 o'clock this afternoon by the Rev. Terence Mullins, pastor. Burial will be in the new Catholic cemetery, with military rites at the grave by members of veterans' organizations. Mr. Parton is survived by two sisters, Leola, Mrs. J. A mitchell, of Albuquerque, N. Mex., and Martha, Mrs. Joseph Klodt, of New Windsor, Ill., and four brothers, John Parton of Toledo, Ohio, and Lloyd, George and Donald Parton of Edina. Henry Orval Parton was born March 3 (sic), 1909, in Edina, a son of George Washington and Jennie H. Beaver Parton. Mr. Parton, who never married, served in the Army during World War II.
