Daughter of James Bever/Beaver and Christina Musgrave. Married Henry Adcox on 24 Oct 1887 in Adams County, Missouri. Married George Washington Parton on 16 Oct 1890 in Edina, Knox County, Missouri.

MRS JENNIE PARTON BURIED
Almost Lifetime Edina Resident W as Buried Saturday Afternoon.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Parton, more generally called Jane Parton and almost 86 years old and nearly a lifelong resident of Edina, who died at 11 o'clock Wednesday night of last week, were at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Hudson Funeral Hoeo here. The Rev. Merle J. White, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, officiated.
Burial was in the St. Joseph New Cemetery beside the graves of her husband, George W. Parton who died May 29, 1928, and a son, James, who died when 3 years old. Six grandsons were pallbearers: John F. Parton, Jim Parton, Jon Parton, Richard Parton, Barney Parton and Bobby Parton.
Death came to Mrs. Parton at her home here after an illness since in October, the last three weeks of which time she had been much worse.
Seven children, twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren survive. The children are: Leola, Mrs. J. A. Mitchell, Albuquerque, N. Mex,; Martha, Mrs. Joseph Klodt, New Windsor, Ill.; John Parton, Toledo, Ohio, and Lloyd, George, Donald and Orville Parton, Edina.
Before her marriage here Oct. 8, 1886, to Mr. Parton, Mrs. Parton was Miss Jennie Beaver. She was born April 25, 1866, at Mendon, III., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Beaver, both of whom died when Mrs. Parton was a child.
To Mr. and Mrs. Parton were born nine children, two daughters and seven sons. Two of the sons, Clarence Leslie Parton, who died Sept. 2, 1935, and the child, James, mentioned, preceded their mother in death.
