Maude M. Hoover was born in Warren Co., Iowa to Joe and Susan (Blackford) Hoover and passed away in Bertha, Todd Co., MN. She was united in marriage to Charles McIntire in 1904 at Indianola, Iowa where they lived for one year. They moved to Clay Co., Iowa for 7 years and in 1914 moved to Minnesota where they purchased a farm on #24 east of Bertha and lived there until 1950 when they sold this farm and moved into Bertha. Mrs. McIntire joined the Congregational church in 1917 where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and taught Sunday school for several years. She is survived by her husband, 3 sons and 1 brother
