Charles Morrow McIntire, 93, a long time resident of rural Bertha, MN passed away at the St. Williams Rest Home at Parkers Prairie, February 25, 1973.
He was born the son of William and Jennie Simpson McIntire at Indiana County, Pennsylvania and moved in 1889 with his parents to the state of Kansas. Several years following they moved to Iowa. He was united in marriage with Minnie Maude Hoover, December 14, 1904 at Indianola, Iowa. In 1914 they came to Minnesota to farm east of Bertha. It was in 1950 they moved to Bertha to reside. He was a member of the Congregational church of Bertha. His wife, Maude, his parents and one son, Joseph preceded him in death. Left to mourn his passing are 3 sons, Wayne, Clarence and Howard, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
