Mr Durdan was born 31 Jan 1914, in Grand Rapids Township, LaSalle County, to Peter and Mary Zec Durdan. He married Eunice Schroeder on April 27, 1946 in Streator. He lived all his life in Grand Ridge and was retired from farming. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and Knights of Columbus in Streator. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife; a son Donald A. of rural Grand Ridge; 2 daughters Mrs. Raymond (Eileen) McCabe of Peoria and Mrs. David (Joan) Gilomen of Arlington, VA. and 3 sisters, Mary Inks of Brooksville, FL, Margaret Graham and Irene Vercimak, both of rural Ottawa. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.
