Dorothy Grace Stewart Potts, 82, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007.

Born in Jackson County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Howard Lee and Eva Moses Stewart. She was the wife of John J. Potts for 64 years.

Mrs. Potts was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Danny Floyd of Easley; a son and daughter-in-law, John L. and Dolly Potts of Fort Myers, Fla.; two sisters, Lois Peek of Pickens and Betty Dockery of Valdese, N.C.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 15, 2007, at noon in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will be at Stewart Family Cemetery in Jackson County, N.C.
