Betty Stewart Dockery, 79, of Valdese, was a daughter of the late Howard and Eva Moses Stewart. She was preceded in death by her husband Verlon "Chuck" Dockery.
She retired, after many years of service, as the lunchroom cashier from Valdese Elementary School. Betty was an active member of North Laurel Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher, church clerk, choir member and a member of the Young at Heart.
Interment in Burke Memorial Park.
