Graveside services for Ozelia Carpenter, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2001 with Rev. Elton Gunter officiating.
Mrs. Carpenter, age 94 of Dodson, died Friday, April 27, 2001 in her residence after a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker.
Survivors are five sons, Odis E. Carpenter of Newellton, LA, Bobby R. Carpenter of Dodson, LA, Stanley F. Carpenter of Minden, LA, Jerry D. Carpenter of Florida and James J. Carpenter of Dodson, LA; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Barnhill of Sour Lake, TX; three sisters, Murtle Woods of Modesto, CA, Audrice Crawford and Nola McDonald, both of Tallulah, LA; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
