She was a native of Van Wert and had lived in Lima 35 years. Her husband, Louis F. Moebus, died Dec. 19, 1954.
Surviving are a son, Lucian A. Moebus, Vice Admiral, U.S. Navy, retired, of Opp, Ala.; a grandson, Lt. Louis Moebus, U.S. Navy, San Diego, Calif.; a granddaughter, Mrs. William Cook Jr., Fort Loramie; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lawrence Spayd, Carmen, Okla., and Walker Spayd, Van Wert.
The body will remain in the Chiles & Son Funeral Home for services at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. James A. Thompson will officiate and burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
The family suggests that those who wish contribute to the Lima Convalescent Home Foundation, 1126 National Bank Building, instead of sending flowers.
