MRS. ANNA MARTHA SWOPE

Widow of Joseph S. Swope, died at 8.35 o'clock last evening at the home of her son, Wilbert F. Swope of 107 Fifteenth street, after a five weeks' illness due to a heart condition. She was born on April 9, 1865, at Blair Furnace, the daughter of John and Barbara (Thomas) Hainley. Her husband died on Jan. 19, 1920. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Joseph E., of Juniata, Wilbert F., and Walter E., of Altoona, David S. of Cresson, Ray A. of Ashville, R.D., Mrs. G.R. Smith of Greenwood and Mrs. T.E. Myers of Altoona; 55 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and the following brothers and sisters: Edgar A. Hainley of Altoona, Mrs. Elmer Will of Petersburg, Va., Mrs. Laura Fish of Cuyoga Falls, O., and Mrs. Bertha Norris of Greenwood. Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home.

SWOPE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Martha Swope of 107 Fifteenth street, will be held at the Mauk and Yates funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Walter Brown, pastor of the First Church of Christ. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the Mauk and Yates funeral home. (Cambria county papers please copy.)
