She was the daughter of the late John Rufus and Lurline Sanford Fogle. She was a lifelong member of Wannamaker Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband, Herman Bennett Ford and two sons, Ralph Watson Ford and his wife, Nan, of Columbia, George Eric Ford and his wife, Melissa, of Duford; a very special nephew, Charlie Fogle and his wife, Bonnie, of Duford; one sister, Lillian Fogle Hooks of Loris; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 28th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Meares Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Mar. 1st at 2 p.m. at Meares Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Floyds Cemetery.
