Orangeburg County, a son of the late John Fogle Sr. and Lurline Sanford Fogle.
He retired as office and credit manager from Heilig-Meyers Furniture Co. He was
a Mason and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Ruby
Fogle; a stepson, Carey Rogers Jr. of Myrtle Beach; a stepdaughter, Patricia
Williams of Myrtle Beach; a brother, Laverne Fogle of Nichols; and three
sisters, Mary Page, Lillian Hooks and Louise Ford, all of Nichols. A graveside
service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery. Memorials
may be made to Wannamaker Baptist Church, P.O. Box 46, Nichols 29581.
