Amelia Asal, 85, of 7023 Skyline Drive died at 3:20 a.m. Sunday, March 10, 1996, at the Peoria Apostolic Christian Home. She was born Nov. 5, 1910, in Princeville to George F. and Mary Streitmatter Asal. Surviving are four nieces, Mrs. Dale (Maxine) Chapman of Washington, Mrs. Albert (Aldine) Salter of Marquette Heights, Eleanor Asal of Princeville and Mrs. William (Carol) Fairfield of Monica; three nephews, Earl Asal of Austin, Texas, Jerrold R. Asal of Peoria and George Asal of Gulfport, Miss. Five sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
