GALESBURG - Betty M. Alexander, 78, of 2345 N. Seminary St. died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, in Cottage Hospital.
Born March 4, 1924, in Morrison to Edward L. and Myrtle B. Knox Kemmer, she married Kenneth W. Alexander on June 20, 1943, in Galesburg. He died June 16, 2002.
Surviving are three sons, William (and Sandra) of St. Marie, Mont., Richard (and Sherry) of The Villages, Fla., and David (and Teri) of Galesburg; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was in several women's bowling leagues.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Galesburg.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The Rev. Norman Myer will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
