Born in Galesburg, Illinois on April 10, 1944, he was the son of Kenneth and Betty Mae (nee Kemmer) Alexander. He attended Galesburg High School in Knox County and served in the US Navy. On May 13, 2009, he was united in marriage to Judy Mae Good. Bill retired from the Navy after 30 years of service as a Navy Senior Chief.
Bill is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Kelly (Missy) Reinholtz, Kevin (Paula) Reinholtz and Kristi (Michael) Clayton; grandchildren, Chandler Reinholtz, Hunter Reinholtz and Ella Reinholtz; and siblings, Dick (Sherrie) Alexander and David (Teri) Alexander. Bill is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
