Pembroke - Mrs. Kate Lee Sikes, 59, died Tuesday at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton after a short illness. She was a native of Liberty County and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Bobby and Grady Sikes, both of Ellabell; four daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Shuman and Mrs. Magdalene Marotz, both of Pembroke, Mrs. Donnie Summers of Adrian and Mrs. Susie DeLoach of Bellville; four sisters, Mrs. Betty Mott, Mrs. Maude Sikes and Mrs. Ida Miles, all of Pembroke, and Mrs. Dorothy McGowan of Hazlehurst; 24 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home in Pembroke, with burial in Northside Cemetery.
