mrs l. t.magee passed away this morning.
friends of the family of mr. l.t.magee of this place sympathize deeply with them in the death this morning of the wife and mother . mrs. magee had been in critical condition durning the past year .at times being an intense sufferer, and little hopes had been held out durning that time for her recovery . the end came this morning shortly after 5 o,clock. deceased leaves a husband and eleven children to mourn her going. the funeral services will be conducted tommorrow morning from the baptist church , of which she was a consistent member, by her pastor, rev. wayne alliston, followed by interment at the city cementery.

IN MEMORIAM
GOD in his infinite mercy called home the blessed spirit of mrs. l. t.magee last thanksgiving morning , novermer 26,1925. it was not the privilege of mrs. magee to enjoy the blessings of good health .
for fourteen months she had been afficited , through she bore her suffering with the most christ -like patience.though weak in the body she was strong in the lord. her life was calm , gentle and unassuming. her tender sympathy went out to all who were in distress and she was indeed loved by her friends and neighbors.in all her sickness she saw the hand of god and resigned herself to his will. we know that our loss in her going is heaven,s gain her spirit will not linger but a brief period when in sweetness and in love she will reunite with her loved ones to depart no more .mrs. magee was a loyal member of the o.e.s. this order had charge of the funeral services from the columbia baptist church, conducted by rev . wayne alliston , her pastor. she was forty - five years old and was ,before her marriage , miss ettie sullivan. she united with the baptist church at the age sixteen and she married mr. l. t. magee 27 was ever faithful to his cause, years ago. to this union were born ten children ,all of whom are living. may her loved ones strive to emulate her example and may god comfort them in this dark hour .
