Mrs. Emma M. Bruce

Mrs. Emma Magee Bruce, 66, of 28 32 1/2 St., Gulfport, died at 4:30 a.m. today at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, where she had been hospitalized since Nov. 21. Mrs. Bruce moved to Gulfport about three months ago from New Orleans, La., where she formerly taught school for 10 years. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Victor H. Bruce Sr., Gulfport; a son Victor H. Bruce Jr., Indianapolis, Ind.; a granddaughter; six brothers, Burnia E. Magee, DeQrincy, La., E. C. and U. U. Magee, Engleside, Tex.; W. G. Magee, Houston, Tex.; R. L. Magee, San Diego, Calif.; K. B. Magee, Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. Ona Barnes, New Orleans and Mrs. Nona McDaniel, Hesperiz, Calif.
Th funeral is scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday from Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Columbia, Miss. Interment will be in Columbia Cemetery.
