MRS. ELLA F. WEEKLY

Mrs. Ella Florence Weekly, 92, widow of William Weekly, and a resident of the Mt. Zion Church Community, near Mt. Solon, died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, December 11th, at the home of her son, Gordon L. Weekly.

A daughter of the late Gordon Baugher and Nellie Shifflett Baugher, she was born June 3, 1868 at Swift Run, where she spent her early life. She later resided in the McGaheysville section, and for the past fifty five years lived in the Mt. Solon community. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church.

She is survived by two children with whom she had been making her home, Gordon L. Weekly, of Mt. Solon, and Mrs. Ralph Guyer, of Mt. Crawford. She also leaves eleven grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. John H. (Rebecca) Comer and Mrs. Frank P. (Fannie) Comer, both of Shenandoah; Mrs. George (Anna) Baugher, of Elkton, and Mrs. Harry (Lula) Osborne, of Pleasant Valley. Her husband, William Weekly, died March 21, 1921. Two sisters and four brothers also preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday from the Mt. Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, with her pastor, the Rev. Fred Edge officiating, assisted by the Rev. Carl V. Hinkle. Burial took place in the adjacent Cemetery.
