NAME: MARY RILEY
SPOUSE NAME: JAMES TRUITT
MARRIAGE: 1691 IN VA.
SPOUSE BIRTH YEAR: 1663
(this seems to be correct info until you look at the family TREES that give the 1st child Mary born: 1685?? and the 2nd child Tabitha B: 1687--it does say about.)
and then their 3rd child James born: 1696..
So they could have been born after the 1691 marriage and before the 3rd child's birth.

"James & Mary were married until her death and then he married her sister Sarah". And family history and the Will of James Truitt prove that James and Sarah and James's 3 children from Mary moved to Somerset Co MD. the 3 kids were:
Mary - B: "abt. 1685"
Tabitha - B: "Abt. 1687"
James - B: "Abt. 1696"

And then James & Sarah had 5 more kids:
Riley - B: 1695 (birth year ? This is not right.. the year before Mary's last child was born)
John - B: 1697
Thomas -B: 1699 (Thomas would be my ancestor)
George -B: 1701
Elizabeth - B; 1703 these are all "ABT."

and then James married a 3rd time to Elizabeth Turville about 1718
This same year, 1718 there was another son born, Phillip and the same year James passed. This is all according to several Family Trees on familysearch/rootsweb


the children and 3rd wife info comes from "The Virden Family of Kent Co. Delaware" Author, Thoesen, Edythe Wilson
pg. 381

there is proof that George Truitt B: 1617 Kent England and Alice Watson B: 1629 were the parents of James Truitt. The Will of George Truitt, dated 1670 names James as son, the wife of George is not mentioned in the Will.
