Senator for the Second District, State of Wisconsin representing Brown and Calumet counties. Population, 1885 — 54,588. ENOS WARREN PERSONS (Dem.), of De Pere, Brown county, was born at Sheldon, Wyoming county, New York, October 27, 1836; received a common school education, also Instruction at Aurora Academy; came to Wisconsin in 1859, and settled at Albany, Green county, where he resided until 1806, then removed to Glenmore, Brown county, and in 1873 to De Pere; Is president of the Wineyard & Persons Co., dealers in grain, and general store; has been a member of the school board three years: supervisor and member of assembly for 1885 and 1886. In 1888 he was elected to the state senate, receiving 5,618 votes, against 3,582 votes, for Peter Werner, republican, and 166 votes, for D. J. Miller, prohibitionist.

3: Myron Bowen Persons, 87366741STREWN WITH FLOWERS. - The funeral services of E.W. Persons were held at Bradley's undertaking parlors yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Lapsley McAfee officiating. The funeral cortege was imposing and a profusion of flowers were strewn over the bier by the large number of high school pupils who had collected to pay their respects. The daughter of deceased is a member of the senior class of that school.
