Brooklet - Mary Lee Bryant Starling, 72, died Nov. 27 at Bulloch Memorial Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County and a resident of Heritage Inn of Statesboro. She was retired from Statesboro Regional Library after 17 years with the Bookmobile. She was a member of Lawrence Baptist Church, where she was a member of the WMU. She was the widow of Sammie William Starling.

Survivors: a daughter and son-in-law, Renea S. and Jerry Joiner of Leefield; three sons and daughters-in-law, DeWayne and Teri Starling of Nevils, Harry and Linda Starling of Brooklet, and Lee and Kimberly Starling of Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Gertrude DuBois of Atlanta, Annie Laurie Foster of Savannah and Cora Beth Miller of Rockledge; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Lawrence Baptist Church, burial in Lawrence Baptist Church Cemetery. Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.

Remembrances: Statesboro Regional Library.
