SSGT WILLIAM HENRY BRYANT, 284th ENGINEER CORPS, U.S. ARMY
William Henry Bryant was born in Bulloch County on July 29, 1923 and attended Stilson High School. He was marrie dto Geraldine Quattlebaum. He enlisted in the service on February 10, 1943 and was trained as a mechanic. He went overseas in November, 1944 with the 284th Engineer Corps. S/SGT Bryant saw duty in England, France, and Germany. He was killed in a vehicle accident in Luxembourg on January 20, 1945.
