Rachel Carr Blackmon, 85, of Mobile, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Her family was one of the founders of The Pilgrim Holiness Church of Magnolia Springs, now called Wesleyan Church. She was a past employee of Rawson's Drug Store in Mobile. She was a member for over 25 years of The First Nazarene Church of Mobile. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include three sons, Donald (Bonnie) Blackmon of Milwaukee, Ore., David (Nancy) Blackmon of Louisiana and Charles Blackmon of Mobile; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 21 at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley. The family requests memorial donations be made to The First Nazarene Church of Mobile or The Wesleyan Church of Magnolia Springs. Arrangements are by Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
