Arthur Ackley (67870207)
Suggested edit: Arthur is the son of Abel Ackley (1746-1835) and Hannah Shevalier (1745-bef 1800). They married on 16 Jan 1766 in Sharon, Litchfield County, CT. (See Harrison, E.J. (2011). Elias Shevalier, immigrant to Connecticut: his origin and immigration. New England Historical and Genealogical Register (NEHGR), 165: 173-181.) Hannah's family lived across the NYS border in Amenia, Dutchess County, NY which is where Abel and Hannah lived until about 1775. Abel about that year moved to White Creek, Washington County; Hannah died there before 1800. Mary was Abel's second wife, whom he married sometime between the 1810 and 1820 censuses. She is not the mother of Arthur.
