Sheboygan Falls--Mrs. Caroline Altmeyer died at 2:45 o-clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Branover, with whom she had lived the past 14 months, following a long illness.

Mrs. Altmeyer was born at West Bend in 1835 and was married in Algoma to Peter J. Altmeyer in 1873. The couple lived at Algoma, Kewaunee, and Two Rivers before coming to Sheboygan Falls in 1906 where Mr. Altmeyer was Proprietor of the Commercial Hotel until shortly before his death 16 years ago.

Mrs. Altmeyer was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Christian Mother's Society. She was devoted to her family and the church and was loved by all who knew her.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Charles Kurtz and Mrs. Guy Hurst, Two Rivers; Mrs. Edwin Fessler, Sheboygan; Mrs. Dave Kirk and Mrs. Charles Brunover, Sheboygan Falls; four sons, Lawrence Altmeyer, Sheboygan; and Albert, Henry, and Alvin Altmeyer, Sheboygan Falls; two brothers, John Klotz, St. Lewis, Mo. and Frank Klotz, Perkins, Mich. There are 28 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morining at 8:45 o'clock at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. George Goesel will officiate and buriel will be made in St. Mary's cemetery. The body will lie in state at the late Altmeyer home on Adams Street.
