THOMASVILLE--Frank C. Rothrock, 55, of Rt.2, Cedar Lodge Community, died Sunday at 9:45 pm in City Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack at his home. Mr. Rothrock was born in Davidson County, August 17, 1910, a son of Pleasant Dewitte and Ida Mae Myers Rothrock. He had spent most of his life in Davidson County and was owner and operator of the Rothrock Upholstering Company. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in Europe. He was a member of Fair Grove Methodist Church and attended Rich Fork Baptist Church. He was a member of the Fellowship Bible Class of the church Sunday School. In August 1942, he was married to Miss Rilla Lee Leonard, who survives of the home. Surviving in addition to his wife, are his mother, Mrs. P.D. Rothrock of Randolph Rd.; one son, Stephen Clyde Rothrock of the home; one brother, Lenyel L. Rothrock of Randolph Rd.; and four sisters, Mrs. Vaden(W.H.) Blizzard of High Point, Mrs. Essie(C.W.) Jones of Liberty Dr., Mrs. Hazel(Frank) Cardiff of Dallas, TX and Mrs. Blanche(Dalton) Fritts of Fair Grove Forest.
Funeral will be held at Fair Grove Methodist Church Tuesday at 4 pm by Rev. George C. Starr Jr. and Rev. James R. Helvy. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
