Mrs. Rilla Lee Leonard Rothrock, 95, a lifelong resident of Thomasville passed away on March 22, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Davidson County on May, 27, 1918, a daughter of the late William E. Leonard and Perla L. Leonard. She married Frank Clifton Rothrock who preceded her in death. Rilla worked in textiles for over 50 years, worked as a bookkeeper and then later owned and managed Rothrock Upholstery Company. She was a faithful member of Rick Fork Baptist Church where she was an assistant in the nursery. Rilla was always a loving mother as well as grandmother to three grandchildren. Surviving is her son, Stephen C. Rothrock and wife Pam from Lancaster, S.C.; three grandchildren; Geoffrey Michael Rothrock of North Myrtle Beach S.C., Stephen Benjamin Rothrock of Thomasville, and Kristen Rothrock Mason and husband Phillip of Winston Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at J C Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Byron Barker and Rev. Michael Bowers officiating. Burial will follow at Fair Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Thomasville.
