Joseph Riley Naillon, 89, 55 East Lennox St. died February 24, 1977. He was born February 17, 1888, Cocke County, Tennessee, to Reuben Black and Lydia Naillon. He married Emma Carpenter in Tucson, Arizona, June 1, 1918 [1919]. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died January 29, 1974. He had been a farmer and had worked for Zion Security Corporation, was a high priest in the Midvale 2nd LDS Ward, and had been a stake clerk in Logandale, Nev., Indian Branch.
Survivors: sons and daughters; J. Robert and Mrs. Ivan (Faunda) Danielson, Crescent, Utah; Mrs. Melvin (Frieda) Jacobsen, Layton, Utah; Van A., Colton, California; Mrs. Joe (Pauline) Johnson, Eugene, Oregon; 25 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28, at Noon, in the Crescent Ward, 89 East 11000 South. Friends may call Sunday at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street from 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the Ward one hour prior. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
