Mrs. Tracy was suffering from shock yesterday and was unable to tell just how the fire started.
According to the Annapolis telephone operator, Mr. Tracy was in Robinson, where he is employed in the pottery plant, at the time of the fire.
The Tracy tot was sleeping on the second floor when the fire was discovered, and when his mother started up to rescue him, she was almost overcome by smoker. According to all available information here last night, Mrs. Tracy's other three young children were about to follow her up the stairs of the burning house and it was necessary for her to turn back in order to keep them from being caught in the fire also.
It was said that nothing of value was saved from the fire.
