Myrtle Irene Lemke, the daughter of Walter Isaac and Etta Marie (Johnson) Geisler, was born Thursday, Nov. 15, 1906, near Piper City, Il. October 22, 1936, she married Walter W.H. Lemke at the parsonage of the Klemme Reformed Church. They lived in Klemme with the exception of two years when the family lived on a farm northeast of Garner.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Hrubes, and her husband, Clarence of Britt, and their children; a son Earl Lemke and Kathleen of Des Moines; brothers, Emery, Lyle, and Warren; sisters Arlis, Dorothy; sister-in-law Meta Bohn.
