Everett Eugene Allen was born April 20, 1939 at Onawa, Iowa, the sone of Hiram and Lena(Holten)Allen. He was a lifelong resident of Onawa with the expection of time in the military. Everett Joined the United States Army June 7 1962 and was a sharpshooter until his honorable discharge June 3, 1964.
Everett and Nancy Perry were united in marriage October 23, 1965 at South Sioux City, Nebraska. The couple were blessed with two children, Shelly and Brent. Everett worked on Missouri River with the Army Corp of Engineers and was a truck driver for Irving Jensen, Clark Reddy Mix and Max Nickolaisen. He was last employed at Ten Point Construction at Denison.
He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2270 and a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include, his wife, Nancy of Onawa, a daughter and her husband Tim Merritt of Sioux city, Iowa.;a son, Brent Allen of Onawa; two brothers, Lloyd allen of Castle Rock, Wa. and Josephp "Bud" Allen of Soldier, Ia. and two sisters, Jessie Allen of Turin and Amy Pierce of CAstle Rock, Wa. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Frankie Allen; five brothers Kenneth "Jack" Allen, Arthur Allen, John Allen, Gorge allen and David Allen and six sisters, Viola Selby, Vera Olson, Evelyn Calif, Celia Holverson, Esther Campbell and Laura Harding.
MJemoria services were hel at 10:30 a.m. Saturday Marach 26, 2011 at Rush Family Chapel of Onawa with John Sears, Minister officiating . Burial was in Graceland Cemetery at Blencoe, Iowa with military honors conducted by the United States Army.
