Mr. Purdy died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, at his home, after an extended illness.
He was employed eight years at Union Carbide.
He was born May 3, 1952, in Kansas City, Mo.
He had served in the U.S. Army in Germany.
Survivors include sons, Charlie, Davenport, and Donald, of Oklahoma; his father, Norman Purdy, of Oklahoma; sisters, Sandra and Leta; half sisters, Joyce, Dianne, Connie, Carol and Sara; brothers, Jimmy and Wayne; and half brothers, Jerry and Billy.
