Walter Jerald Zwally, Marshfield, MO was born December 25, 1948 in San Antonio, TX to Walter Weily and Ann (Shaver) Zwally. He departed this life on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in his home.

Walter joined the United States Air Force right out of high school, serving in Okinawa. He was a captain at Platte County Fire Station 2, Platte County, MO. He worked as a lineman for General Motors, Kansas City, MO, and then also worked later for Redburn Tire Company, Cortez, CO, and then for Chapell's Tire Company after moving to Marshfield, MO. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed music (especially Elvis), playing guitar, and horseshoes. He was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, and an active member of Elkland Independent Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sister, Connie Riley; and his brother, Donnie Purdy....

uneral services for Walter Zwally will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 in the funeral home.
