Virginia Elkins Letchworth - SAVANNAH - Virginia Elkins Letchworth born February 22, 1923 and went to be with our Lord on April 11, 2008. She was predeceased by the love of her life Herman R. Letchworth, Sr. Mrs. Letchworth was a native and long time resident of Savannah. Mrs. Letchworth was a Deacon and active member of the New Day Fellowship Church formerly Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Joy Winskie (Louie), Roger Letchworth, Jr. (Liz), Chuck Letchworth (Nancy), Debra Hathaway (David); four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; her sister, Ann Newham, her brother, Bennett Elkins and her nieces, nephews and many many friends. Visitation will be Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel. Funeral Services will be Monday, April 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the New Day Fellowship Church with entombment in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
