Mrs. Thelma Laury Elkins, 93, of Pooler died Thursday after a long illness.
She was born in Walterboro, S.C. and lived in Pooler most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pooler.
Surviving are a son, Bennett H. Elkins of Savannah; two daughters, Virginia Letchworth of Savannah and Ann Newham of Pooler; a sister, Eva Jones of Jacksonville, FLa; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Pooler, burial in Newton Cemetery.
