Margaret Elizabeth Gates was born in March 1851 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Her father Harvey Gates b1812 was 38 and her mother Rhoda Thrasher Gates was 35. The 'Age 0ld' story is that her family was not real happy about her marriage to James Lenox on November 10, 1871 in Marion, Missouri. They had eight children in 24 years. She died on March 29, 1932 in Seattle, Washington at the age of 81. More to follow................
