Cecilia L. Lenox was born on August 27, 1872 in St Joseph, Missouri. Her father James Lenox b1849 was 22 and her mother Margaret Gates Lenox was 21. She married William Montgomery on October 24, 1896 in Dillon, Montana. They had seven children in 12 years. She passed away on September 9, 1953 in Gallatin Co, Montana at the age of 81. Her husband Wm had passed away in a Ranching accident in 1919. Apparently his wagon overturned crossing a creek fatally injuring him. Cecilia was laid to rest next to her husband in Wisdom Memorial Cemetery. Cecilia is standing on the left in the family photo. My father worked on their ranch in the 1920's as a Young Man. Her younger sister Mary Loretta Lenox listed below was this writers Grandmother. She passed away in 1917.
