Louise Britton, age 82, of Cumberland City, TN, died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at her residence. A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Bill Graham officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville. Friends and Family will serve as Pallbearers. Mrs. Britton was born September 24, 1928 in Hawkins County, TN and was the widow of JD Britton. She was a Red Cross Volunteer for over 30 years, a member of the Eastern Star and the POW-MIA Association. She enjoyed volunteer work, fishing and crafting. Survivors inlcude her brother, Clint Bailey; her sister, Odell Short both of Abington, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gateway Hospice, 1606 Haynes Street, Clarksville, TN 37043.
