May E. Howslee [May B. Towslee], 78, who died in Council Bluffs, lowa, Jan. 8, was born in Lyons [Wisconsin], but had lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa, for the past 50 years.

She was the daughter of Rathbone and Celia Fellows and received her education in Lyons. She taught the primary grades of Lyons State Grade school for six years.

The body was brought here for burial and services were conducted at the grave Monday afternoon by the Rev. Harold Wagner of Burlington.

Mrs. Towslee's husband preceded her in death and she is survived by one son, Jerome F. Towslee of Chicago, and one brother, Fred W. Fellows, of this village [Lyons].

Those from away who attended services here were Mr and Mrs. Jerome Towslee of Chicago, Mrs. Robert Stewart of Hebron, Ill., Mrs. Kenard [Kenneth] Whitman of Evanston, Ill., and Mrs. Stuart Ellsworth of Elkhorn.
