DEATH OF MRS. R. R. FELLOWS

Mrs. Cecilia Fellows, widow of Rathbun Fellows, age nearly 93 years, died on Friday Feb. 5, 1915, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Towslee, in Council Bluff, Iowa.

Cecelia Maddox was born in the city of Hereford, England, May 22, 1823. She came to America at the age of eleven years. She was married to Richard Rathbun Fellows, Nov. 27, 1840. They lived at Cooperstown, N.Y., then moved to Wisconsin in the fall of 1857. Mrs. Fellows lived in Lyons, Wisconsin, for a period of 32 years.

After the death of her husband in 1886, she spent the remaining years of her life with her daughter, Mae (Mrs. E.J. Towslee), first in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and for the last 18 years in Council Bluffs [Iowa].

She leaves five children, three sons and two daughters. The eldest daughter, Helen, residing in Albany, N.Y., Charles R. in Albert Lea, Minn., Clifford L. at Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Fred W., the youngest son in Lyons, Wis., and Mrs. E.J. The remains arrived in Lyons at 1:30 p.m. Monday, accompanied by Charles Fellows and [his] daughter Lottie and Mrs. E.J. Towslee. Funeral services were held at one o'clock on Tuesday afternoon at the home of Fred W. Fellows, Rev. C.A. Tuttle of the M.E. church, officiating. The singing was by Mrs. C.D. Winsor, Mrs. Ernest Mayhew, Mrs. Walter Frazer and Miss Linka Uebele. A large number of friends and relatives were present to pay their last sad tribute of respect to one whose Christian life is held in remembrance. The interment was in Lyons cemetery, in the south part of the village.

… Mrs. Miriam Pickett of Elkhorn, came yesterday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Fellows … Among the relatives here to attend the funeral of Mrs. Fellows, was Wm. Bright of Ft.
