Jarvis Earl Redding, 69, died of
a heart attack Monday night at his
home, four and one-half miles
northeast of Brookston,
Wednesday morning at ten o'clock
the body will be taken from the
Thompson funeral home Brookston
to the residence where friends may
call. Final rites will be held
there at two o'clock that afternoon,
with burial In the Masonic
cemetery, Delphi.
Born Feb. 10, 1880, near Brookston,
he was the son of Jeremiah
and Sarah Ann Martin Redding.
His first marriage In 1912 was to
Mary Ann O'Dell who died in 1924.
in 1926 he married Minnie Turnipseed,
who survives. Also surviving
are two daughters and two
sons: Kathryn Pitts, Monticello;
Ruth, at home; Robert and Harry,
at home; two brothers and three
sisters: John, Camden; Leroy,
Lakeland, Florida; Mrs. Charles
Ward, Rockfield; Mrs. Bertie Gardiner
and Mrs. Herbert Staub,
Brookston.
